Safety Guidelines and Protocols
Responsibility and flexibility guided the planning of our reimagined 2020-2021 season. The health and safety of our audience, musicians, staff, and volunteers was the focus of this pandemic-impacted season.
In addition to these guidelines for patrons, Sarasota Orchestra has undertaken the following measures for safety at concerts:
- The facility will be sanitized between performances.
- Hand sanitizer stations are available in the lobby.
- The Orchestra Center's air handling system has been upgraded with Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization technology that eliminates pathogens, including viruses, from the air.
We are overjoyed to welcome patrons back to Holley Hall this season. To help us make the in-person concert experience as safe and enjoyable as possible, we request all patrons follow these guidelines at performances.
- If you feel unwell on the day of a concert, we urge you to stay home. Your tickets to Holley Hall concerts come with complimentary streaming access and are fully refundable.
- Enter and exit the Orchestra Center only through the lobby doors on the southeast side of the building.
- Face masks are mandatory and must cover your mouth and nose the entire time you’re inside the building. If you forget to bring your own, a complimentary mask will be provided at the door.
- The Orchestra Center opens one hour prior to concerts and seating will begin 45 minutes before performances.
- Orchestra staff will perform a contactless temperature check for all patrons entering the building.
- Floor markings indicate a six-foot space between you and other parties in line.
- Ushers will check you in with a touch-free ticket scan. This season there will be no printed programs.
- Socially distancing seating is required. You will be seated by an usher and may not be reassigned.
- Once in your seats, please remain seated until the performance has concluded.
- At the end of a concert, remain seated until an usher can guide you to exit Holley Hall.
- Restroom occupancy is limited and some stalls and sinks have been taken out of service to permit social distancing.
- Concessions and water fountains are currently closed. With the exception of water, food and drink are not permitted at concerts.
