Ian Marc Morgan

Biography
Originally from South Carolina, Marc is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where he was a student of Donald Harwood, principal bass trombonist of the New York Philharmonic. He has performed with numerous orchestras around the world including the Spoleto Festival Orchestra-Italy, Buffalo Philharmonic, Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Opera, Singapore Symphony, and Utah Symphony. In addition to working as an orchestral musician, Morgan has served as a studio musician for LA East Recording Studio.

Career Highlights: Marc's proudest musical moment is winning the South Eastern Regional Young Artist competition in 10th grade. He used the prize money to buy his first professional instrument and switched to bass trombone. Marc also enjoyed participating in a recording of Prokofiev's opera "War and Peace" with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra.
Passions and Interests: Outside of music, Marc enjoys scuba diving, cooking, and getting involved in all sorts of crazy projects like woodworking. During the summer, Marc works as a SCUBA Instructor.
