Classical Dinner 4
Best of BeethovenThursday, April 22, 2021 | 6:00pm
Featuring: Sarasota String Quartet: Daniel Jordan, Christopher Takeda, Rachel Halvorson, Natalie Helm
Join the Sarasota String Quartet as they take us through the journey of Beethoven’s musical life, from the very first quartets he ever published (excerpts from Opus 18), through his middle period as he lost his hearing and fought against the restraints of classical music (excerpts from Opus 59), and finally to the last works he composed, where he took the power of music further than it had ever gone before.
Hosts: Tim & Caroline Ryan, David & Pamela Steves, and Ronald & Geri Yonover Foundation
