Violinist Wendi Li started playing violin at age of 5, studying with a local teacher in Weinan, China. She currently studies at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under Pacifica Quartet's first violinist, the school’s strings department chair Simin Ganatra. She was the concertmaster of Xi'an Conservatory Youth Orchestra. Now Wendi is becoming one of the school's most sought after chamber musicians, and has appeared in many different school chamber music concerts. As an orchestral musician, Wendi has performed with the prestigious New World Symphony and many other orchestras. In 2022, Wendi attended Brevard Music Center where she acted as Concertmaster for Brevard Sinfonia Orchestra. In 2023, she attended Sarasota Music Festival and Chautauqua Music Festival as a violin fellow. Wendi is now a member of Owensboro Symphony Orchestra and Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra.
