Lindsay Donat

Lindsay Donat is a versatile double bassist who is motivated by the power of audience connection and the universal nature of musical communication. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in double bass performance at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University where she studies with Nina DeCesare. She received a bachelor's degree in double bass performance from The Juilliard School where she studied with Joseph Conyers, Rex Surany, and Albert Laszlo. She has a passion for teaching and has taught both private lessons and large classes. She also loves reading, going on walks, making chainmail, and, of course, cats!
