Jameson Darcy is a 23-year-old violinist from Boulder County, CO. They began receiving violin lessons in the eighth grade and, within three years, was selected to become an apprentice member of the Boulder Symphony. In Colorado, Jameson studies under the inimitable artistry of Yinfeng Keynes Chen, a mentor who teaches the importance of singing through your bow and asking the biggest questions a musician can engage with. Currently, they are pursuing an undergraduate classical performance degree at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts. In Chicago, Jameson is wonderfully fortunate to study in the studio of Almita and Roland Vamos. Through their brilliance and methodology, Jameson has met wonderful artists from far corners of the globe and matured into an expressive artist with professionalism. Most recently, Jameson was selected to serve as concertmaster for the season finale of the Chautauqua Institution's televised performance of Wynton Marsalis' All Rise.
