David Holloway

David Holloway is a graduate student at Indiana University, currently pursuing a performance diploma under Richard Seraphinoff. He is a passionate chamber musician and was selected to participate with a woodwind quintet at the Tianjin Juilliard School Orchestral Symposium in 2025. He also has extensive orchestral experience as a substitute member of the New World Symphony and Illinois Symphony Orchestra and as a fellow with Orchestra Next during their 2023 and 2024 seasons. As an avid performer of solo music, David won the Indiana University brass concerto competition in the fall of 2025. In the spring of 2025, David graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in French horn performance with Denise Tryon and Dale Clevenger as his primary teachers. Before his undergraduate studies, David studied with Brad Gemeinhardt at the Juilliard Pre-College program in New York City.
