Ani Sinanyan was born into a family of musicians; she began taking violin lessons at age 6. As a prizewinner of many competitions, she was a finalist of the Youth Talent Festival, where she was given the honor to perform in the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York City in 2009. In the summer of 2018, Ani traveled to Whistler, Canada, where she performed in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Institution at Whistler as principal second violin, under the baton of esteemed conductor and composer Bramwell Tovey. She recently received her Bachelor’s degree for Violin Performance and Music Industry at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Ani is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Ilya Kaler & Olga Dubossarskaya Kaler. While continuing her training as a classical violinist, Ani has also joined her parents’ musical duo, forming their familial ensemble, Trio SynThesis.
