A member of the Sarasota Music Festival faculty since 2000
Thomas Robertello joined the faculty of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 1997. A former member of the Pittsburgh Symphony, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the National Symphony, he has performed as guest principal flutist with the Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony, Chicago Philharmonic, Louisiana Philharmonic, Houston Grand Opera, and Nashville Chamber Orchestra. He has toured with the San Francisco Symphony and was guest soloist with that orchestra.
Former faculty positions include the Asian Youth Orchestra, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Notre Dame, Roosevelt University, Cleveland Institute of Music, Pacific Music Festival, Grand Teton, Nara (Japan), Kirishima (Japan), Londrina (Brazil), Dartington (U.K.), Athitos (Greece), Music Anatolia College (Greece), Brevard Music Center, National Orchestral Institute, and Euro Music Festival and Academy in Halle, Germany.
