Terms and Conditions

  • Artwork is selected by the Sarasota Orchestra Art Committee. Though not a requirement, we are especially interested in collections that explore a connection between the visual arts and music or that incorporate the locale of Sarasota and its environs.
  • The Sarasota Orchestra Art Committee has final approval of work presented for display. Upon acceptance, Artist will provide support materials with pricing, artwork and headshot photo, and contact information. All work must be properly and professionally framed and prepared for hanging. Due to space limitations, only two works larger than 44” wide may be accommodated. All others must be 44” or less in width.
  • The Harmony Gallery will produce multi-week exhibitions that will be marketed to Sarasota Orchestra patrons via signage, press releases and the Orchestra’s website. A Harmony Gallery postcard will be created for each featured artist and made available to the artist promoting the show and reception date (quantity 200). Sarasota Orchestra will provide basic set-up facilities for an opening reception, including staff, appetizer samples for up to 50 people and wine with $10 per bottle usage reimbursed by the artist. If desired, Artist may provide additional food and desired non-alcoholic beverages. All sales transactions will be done directly with Artist. The artist will forward a 25% sales commission to Sarasota Orchestra.
