      Much of Mozart’s young life was spent on the road, showing off his talents as a musical prodigy in the capitals of Europe. Hear 15-year-old prodigy Anwen Deng as she performs a movement of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20, as well as the premiere of a Mozart-inspired work by brilliant 12-year-old composer Isaac Thomas. Enjoy music of two of Mozart's idols: Haydn and Bach.

      Everything old is new again. “Spring” and “Summer” from Vivaldi’s beloved Four Seasons bookend this program featuring violinist Amaryn Olmeda, a rising star. Stravinsky, Respighi, Coleridge-Taylor, and Holst all took a page from musical styles of the past.
