Instrument: Julia plays on a Lyon & Healy Style 23 harp (made in Chicago!)

Master of Music – The Juilliard School, Bachelor of Music – Chicago College of Performing Arts

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Coronelli began playing the harp at the age of four. Recent performances include concerts with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (U.K.), St. Louis Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, The Florida Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic, & Phoenix Symphony. She held the position of Principal Harpist of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach from 2014-2017. In 2019, Ms. Coronelli performed as Guest Principal Harpist on The Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Asia Tour, led by Maestro Riccardo Muti. Tour stops included Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, and Osaka. She holds a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music degree from Chicago College of Performing Arts. Ms. Coronelli will join the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in September of 2020 as their new Principal Harpist.

In her spare time, Julia enjoys cooking, reading, and exploring new cities on foot.

Career Highlights:
Some of Julia's favorite musical memories include playing Guest Principal Harp on the 2019 Chicago Symphony's Asia tour with Maestro Riccardo Muti and winning the 2019 Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Principal Harp audition.

 A lifetime of musical moments, cinematic in scope, gave every section of the orchestra a leading role at one time or another. Chief among them was the virtuosic solo of concertmaster Daniel Jordan.
