Founded in 1986, the Sarasota Brass Quintet (formerly the Florida Brass Quintet) has established itself as one of the best-known ensembles of the Sarasota Orchestra. The Quintet performs chamber music on the orchestras Chamber Music Series in Holley Hall at the Beatrice Friedman Symphony Center in Sarasota, and has performed throughout Florida, from the Panhandle to the Keys. The group also performs in and works with students from schools throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
