Cheers to the Music of Dance

FEATURING

Yue Bao, conductor
Yue Bao, conductor

Put a spring in your step with this evening of music inspired by dance. Gluck’s gentle Dance of the Blessed Spirits, Poulenc’s elegant and witty Sinfonietta, and Brahms’ instantly recognizable Hungarian Dance No. 5 will have you swaying in your seat, while Johann Strauss Jr.’s waltzes will transport you to a Viennese New Year’s ball. Yue Bao, Assistant Conductor of the Houston Symphony, leads a concert that will keep your toes tapping the whole way through.
