Vicky Yang is a native of Shanghai, China. Currently pursuing a B.A. in Music with a minor in Psychology at Duke University, she studies under Ieva Jokubaviciute. Vicky has a profound passion for classical music, embracing solo performances, chamber music, and even the harpsichord.

She is a two-time recipient of Duke University's Benenson Award in the Arts (2023, 2024), as well as Ciompi Quartet Award in Chamber Music (2024). Vicky has performed across various cities in the U.S., including Durham, Kitty Hawk, Claremont, Duluth, and Boston. Notably, she won the Duke Symphony Orchestra's 2022-2023 Concerto Competition, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1.

A passionate advocate for music in her community, she volunteers as a piano teacher for underrepresented children with Musical Empowerment and regularly performs at local retirement homes.
