Lyric Soprano Stephanie Jabre will make her Sarasota Orchestra debut this April in their outdoor pops concert Parrots and Palms. She will also return to St. Petersburg Opera this July as a soloist for their 4th of July Pops Spectacular at the historic Mahaffey Theater.

Most recently, Stephanie served as a soloist and section leader with Key Chorale, the Suncoast’s premier symphonic chorus. She has also appeared as a guest artist with Choral Artists of Sarasota, Via Nova Chorale, and other esteemed choral ensembles throughout the region.

Recent operatic roles include Iris in Semele with St. Petersburg Opera, Mary Hatch Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life at Larry Keeton Dinner Theatre, and both Lauretta and Suor Genovieffa in St. Petersburg Opera’s double bill of Gianni Schicchi and Suor Angelica.

Stephanie made her New York debut with New York City Opera and has also performed at Lincoln Center, appearing in the ensemble and singing Lauretta in the Metropolitan Opera Guild concert performance of Gianni Schicchi.

Additional roles include Gianetta (L’elisir d’amore), Giuditta (La Giuditta), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Amore (Orfeo ed Euridice), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance), Mrs. Segstrom (A Little Night Music), Marian Paroo (The Music Man), Ethel Levey (George M!), Cinderella (Into the Woods), Hope Cladwell (Urinetown), and Babette (Beauty and the Beast).

She was a Regional Finalist in the 2019 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (New York Eastern Region) and a 2020 Semi-Finalist in the Lotte Lenya Competition.

Stephanie earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from University of Dayton, where she received both an Honors Scholarship and a Performance & Education Grant.
