Whether she’s commanding the stage as the lead singer of Florida’s top reggae band Jah Movement or captivating audiences online, Shantel’s voice—both literal and figurative—is unforgettable.

Her journey began at just 15 years old when she stunned a local radio station by singing Mary J. Blige’s “A Dream,” earning front-row concert tickets and setting the tone for a lifelong career in music. She has since competed in major talent showcases, including Triad Idol, the Omega Psi Phi talent show, and ABC’s Karaoke Battle USA, where she placed as a national finalist. Shantel also brought the house down at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, earning second place with her rendition of Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got to Do with It.”

A seasoned national anthem performer, Shantel has opened games for the Baltimore Orioles, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Bradenton Marauders.
