Swedish-American violinist Noemi Gilbert has had an extensive career as both a chamber musician and soloist. She served as concertmaster of the Stockholm Youth Symphony from 2018 to 2022 and is currently one of the leaders of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra. Recently, she has participated in prestigious programs such as the Music Masters Course Japan, the Nurmes Summer Music Festival, the Académie Festival des Arcs, and the Aspen Music Festival.
In the summer of 2023, Noemi performed as part of the violin duo Duo Mano, giving 40 short concerts as a young musician at the Stockholm Konserthus. A highlight of this experience was performing before the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic at their annual outdoor concert, attended by 30,000 people.
Noemi has studied with renowned musicians including Ulla Magnusson, Julia Kretz-Larsson, Alexander Kerr, Olivier Charlier, Victoria Sayles, Maciej Rakowski, Yoko Takebe, Alf-Richard Kraggerud, and Joakim Svenheden. Currently an English major in her second year at Harvard College, she studies violin with Lynn Chang.
