Nicole Johnson is a clarinetist from Dallas, Texas. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree at Rice University, studying clarinet performance under Richie Hawley. She has been playing the clarinet for the last seven years and studied with Deborah Fabian and Gregory Raden up until college. Nicole was in the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra for 10 years, including eight years on violin and two years playing principal clarinet. In 2023, she won the Collin County Young Artists Competition and performed Mozart's Clarinet Concerto with the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Nicole was also invited to perform Mozart's "Kegelstatt" Trio in E-flat Major for clarinet, viola, and piano at the Basically Beethoven Chamber Music Festival.
