Nicolas Woodward

Nicolas Woodward is in their second year of undergraduate studies under Drew Pattison at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. They have held principal positions in the Oberlin Orchestra, Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, and Oberlin Sinfonietta, gaining experience playing symphonies, operas, and other orchestral and chamber works in first, second, and contrabassoon positions. Their studies began at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, where they performed in the program’s youth orchestras and at the Summer Orchestra Institute. Last year, they were accepted into the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, where they participated in a two-week woodwind quintet intensive studying under the Imani Winds.
