Megan Lin is currently a Master’s student at the Yale School of Music studying with Soovin Kim. Previously, she completed undergraduate studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music with Jaime Laredo, Jan Sloman, and Malcolm Lowe.
As a soloist, Megan has performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Lewisville Lake Symphony, and Asheville Symphony Orchestra. She was also named a Texas Young Master by the Texas Commission on the Arts in 2018 and a Grand Prize winner of the 7th Coltman Chamber Music Competition with the Elless Quartet.
A longtime recipient of the Dorothy Richard Starling Foundation Scholarship, Megan has attended festivals such as The Institute for Strings, Meadowmount School of Music, Heifetz International Music Institute, Kneisel Hall, and New York String Orchestra Seminar. She is also an alumna of Pacific Music Festival and Chigiana International Festival and Summer Academy.
