Maddie Pintoff recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance from the Juilliard School where she studied with Paul Neubauer.
She has appeared at festivals including the Music Academy of the West, where she performed in concert with the Takács Quartet. Other festival appearanced include the Sarasota Music Festival, Music@Menlo, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Heifetz International Music Institute. She has worked with world-renowned artists in coachings and master classes, including Cynthia Phelps, Karen Dreyfus, David Finckel, Robert Levin, Emmanuel Ax, and the Borromeo and Calidore Quartets.
At Juilliard, she performed as a member of the Juilliard Orchestra and the Juilliard Lab Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, she has performed in numerous recitals as well as Juilliard's Pianoscope, featuring historical arrangements of Beethoven's Piano Concertos, and New Dances, where her quintet collaborated in a cross-disciplinary program with dancers. Maddie has also worked with innovative artists such as Juilliard creative associate, Nadia Sirota."
