Joshua Jung

Joshua Jung is an oboist pursuing a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree at Vanderbilt University, where he studies under Professor Jared Hauser. He currently plays in the Vanderbilt University Orchestra and has previously played as principal oboist of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra. In 2025, Joshua was awarded honorable mention in the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition, and he has appeared as a substitute musician at the Nashville Opera and Early Music City Nashville. Joshua has previously studied with Erin Hannigan.
