Frank Tao

Clarinetist Frank Tao is currently a student at the New England Conservatory, where he studies with Andrew Sandwick. He previously studied with Charles Neidich, Benjamin Adler, Pascual Martínez-Forteza, and David Krakauer. Recent highlights include serving as principal clarinet with the New York String Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and playing in the Taipei Music Festival Orchestra under Maestro Leonard Slatkin at the National Concert Hall. When not playing the clarinet, Frank can be found exploring different cooking techniques, petting his friend's cats, and solving difficult math problems.
