Emma Westerfield, born on May 22, 2003, is an emerging musician and flutist. In 2023, Emma earned first place in the Pellerite Scholarship Competition at the Jacobs School of Music. As a chamber musician, she has competed in competitions and continues to collaborate with chamber musicians in her current studies. Her orchestral performances have taken her to prestigious concert halls in Europe, including the Rudolfinum in Prague, Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche in Berlin, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and Musikverein in Vienna. She has received several honors and awards, including the Indiana Premier Young Artist Scholarship and the Music Faculty Award from the Jacobs School of Music. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Flute Performance under the guidance of Thomas Robertello.
