Claire Oplinger is a New Jersey native and an Ensemble Librarian at Rutgers University. She grew up in a musical family and her parents were worship leaders at their church, and she credits her parents’ love of music as a key reason she went into the field. She earned a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Flute Performance from Rutgers University in 2023 and began her position as Ensemble Librarian in the same year.
In addition to her experience at Rutgers, she has held library internships at Interlochen Center for the Arts and the New Jersey Symphony. She was an Assistant Librarian at Brevard Music Center during the summer of 2023.
Outside of music, Claire loves reading books, writing poetry, running, and spending time in nature.
