Chia-Ying Lin

Chia-ying Lin is active internationally as a soloist and orchestral performer. Originally from Taiwan, she began playing the piano at the age of 10 and started studying horn at the age of 15. Lin earned her Graduate Diploma from McGill University and the Conservatoire de Musique de Montreal, and later completed her Master's degree at the University of Texas at Austin . As an orchestral player, Lin has toured Europe and the USA with the Asian Youth Orchestra, where she represented Taiwan on the international stage. She has also been invited to perform as an extra and substitute horn player with professional orchestras in both Taiwan and Canada.
