Cade Araza is a fourth-year undergraduate student at The Juilliard School, where he studies French horn performance under Eric Reed. Known for his open, warm, lyrical tone and a commanding presence in both orchestral and chamber settings, Cade has already earned the admiration of renowned conductors, including Marin Alsop and David Robertson, who have praised his artistry, precision, collaboration, and expressive range. As a frequent principal horn with the Juilliard Orchestra, Cade has appeared on some of the world’s most celebrated stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Vienna Musikverein, performing repertoire including Mahler, Strauss, Bruckner, and Schoenberg. Cade has refined his craft through personal studies and masterclasses with leading horn artists such as Radovan Vlatković, Stefan Dohr, Julie Landsman, and Erik Ralske, blending the influences of these great musicians into a distinctive and compelling artistic voice.
