Anna Linder studies with Danielle Belen at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, pursuing her B.M. in violin performance. An accomplished chamber musician, Anna studied at the Chamber Music Connection under the direction of Artistic Director Deborah Barrett Price. Anna has competed and medaled at numerous national and international competitions, including the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, M-Prize, Bellagrande International, Saint Paul Chamber Music Competition, Midwest Young Artists, WDAV Young Chamber Musicians, and the Coltman Competition. As a soloist, she was a prizewinner of the Clara Schumann International Competition, as well as the Charleston International and Bellagrande International competitions. Anna has performed as a featured soloist with the River Cities Symphony and the New Albany Symphony as the winner of their concerto competitions. Summer festivals include Music@Menlo Chamber Music Festival, Encore Chamber Music, Bowdoin International, Center Stage Strings, and Encore Solo Intensive. Anna plays on a Gennaro Fabricatore violin on generous loan from the Virtu Foundation.
