Adrian Hsieh is a junior in the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange program at Columbia University. He began his cello studies at the age of four and has studied with Steven Pologe, Richard Aaron, Zlatomir Fung, and Zvi Plesser.
Adrian received the Richard and Brooke Kamin Rapaport Music Performance Fellowship from Columbia University in 2024. He performed as the 27th Young Artists Debut Winner in 2021. He was the 1st place winner of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestral Institute Concerto Competition in 2019 and performed in an outdoor concert to a crowd of more than 10,000.
Adrian studied piano with Dr. Alexandre Dossin and was the winner of the CMSO Concerto Competition 2020. Adrian also enjoys theater performances. He has played the lead in West Side Story and Beauty and the Beast musicals and was the music director of the Spitfire Grill presented by the CSD Theaters in 2019.
