Kyle, 25, is a cellist originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is currently pursuing his master's degree at Indiana University in the studio of Brandon Vamos. Previously, he earned his bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University under the tutelage of David Premo and spent a year at the Eastman School of Music studying with Guy Johnston. He is principal cellist of the Indiana University Concert Orchestra and held principal positions in the orchestras at Carnegie Mellon University and Eastman School of Music. He has performed in masterclasses led by Philippe Muller, Andres Diaz, Anne Martindale Williams, Rafael Figueroa, and Mark Kosower. In recent years, he has attended the Josef Gingold Chamber Music, Credo Chamber Music, and National Repertory Orchestra summer festivals.
