Ania Lewis, from Cleveland, OH, is a student at the Curtis Institute of Music studying with Peter Wiley and Gary Hoffman. As a competition winner, Ania has performed as a soloist with the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra, among others. She is an avid chamber and orchestral musician and has performed throughout the United States as a part of the Lumiã Quartet. She is currently a part of Symphony in C where she sits Associate Principal Cello. Ania has attended summer programs including the Tanglewood Music Center and Bowdoin International Music Festival where she worked with faculty Paul Katz, Clive Greensmith, and Steven Doane. She has also appeared in masterclasses for YoYo Ma, Johannes Moser, and Colin Carr. Ania's former teachers include Stephen Geber, Mark Kosower, and Martha Baldwin. She holds a certificate from the Cleveland Institute of Music's Young Artist Program, which she attended from 2019 to 2021.
