Tucker Van Gundy

Tucker Van Gundy is an Austin-based bassoonist and educator. Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, he graduated with an undergraduate degree in bassoon performance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022, where he studied with Kristin Wolfe Jensen. Tucker is an avid chamber musician, and he is the founding member of The Summit Trio, a reed trio which explores new works and transcriptions for the ensemble. He maintains a private studio of middle and high school bassoon students, and is passionate about improving bassoon pedagogy through accessible methodology and fun.
