Jacks Pollard is a third-year oboe student at the Juilliard School where he studies with Elaine Douvas. Jacks has performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra, and he has served as Principal oboe and English horn with The Juilliard Orchestra and new music ensemble, AXIOM. Previously, Jacks was a member of Carnegie Hall's National Youth Orchestra of the USA, and was a fellow at the Kent Blossom Summer Music Festival. Influential teachers include Elizabeth Koch Tiscione and Zachary Boeding, and Robert Burks.
