2020-2021
Season Update
Sarasota Orchestra is announcing the postponement of our previously scheduled concerts for September 2020 through May 2021. Best efforts will be made to reschedule guest conductors, featured artists and programs to upcoming seasons.
In September, we will announce new programs for the coming season. With health and safety our highest priority, Artistic Advisor Jeffrey Kahane is reimagining a series of 12 to 14 smaller ensemble concerts in Holley Hall at the Orchestra's Symphony Center, which we anticipate will begin in November. Concerts will include a variety of styles for a broad range of musical tastes. Details will be released in September's announcement.
The persistent impact of the current pandemic makes it clear that the year ahead will look very different for the performing arts across the globe. While the safety and health of Sarasota Orchestra patrons, musicians, staff, and volunteers are paramount, we affirm our commitment to sharing great music with you.
