Dear Past, Present, and (hopefully) Future Subscribers,
Thank you all for your patronage and enthusiasm. On behalf of the musicians in the Sarasota Orchestra, I want you to know you are most appreciated! Subscriptions for the Sarasota Orchestra’s 2013-14 season are now on sale. This promises to be one of the most exciting seasons in my tenure as the Orchestra’s concertmaster, and I hope you will choose to be a part of it.
For our Masterworks series, we have 7 different conductors and 7 different soloists. The repertoire blends popular favorites with some pieces you may not have heard before, but I'm confident you'll enjoy. Our Music Director search is in full swing, and it has been intriguing to factor in the input of your audience surveys. We look forward to an announcement soon that will mark a new era for the Orchestra!
Please also consider our other series as well: Pops, Great Escapes and Chamber. In particular, our Chamber concerts have been favorites of the musicians, and we even entice you with wine and hors d'oeuvres beforehand.
