Adcock earned his bachelor's of
music at Oberlin College Conservatory (Pi
Kappa Lambda) and his master's of music,
artist's diploma and D.M.A. from Peabody
Conservatory. He was a student of Leon
Fleisher and Ellen Mack. Adcock won the
1998 Lili Boulanger Memorial Award. He was
also a prizewinner at Kosciuszko and
Washington International Competitions. His
Carnegie Recital Hall debut was in 1998. He
has served on the Theory and Chamber faculty
at Peabody Conservatory, was an artist-in-residence at Aspen and
was on the faculty at Washington Conservatory. Adcock joined the
Sarasota Music Festival associate faculty in 1994.
