Biography >

This narrated, multimedia concert ranges from revolutionary classical works to violinist Miri Ben-Ari’s unique fusion of jazz, R&B and hip hop.  Our Grammy Award winning soloist is an Israeli born, classically-trained violinist who has crossed over to American pop culture genres.   Her Symphony of Brotherhood was the first instrumental single ever to appear on Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop charts.  Ben-Ari has collaborated with many of the biggest names in the music industry including Jay Z, Alicia Keys, Wynton Marsalis, Patti Labelle and Maroon 5.  She has performed at Madison Square Garden, the Lincoln Center, the White House and even Sesame Street.

The 80-minute concert experience (without intermission) involves a narrated trip through time to identify, celebrate and explore revolutions: political, social and creative. Your guide is Albert Einstein, a scientist who revolutionized much of the world as we know it. His character discusses revolutionary music by Beethoven and Stravinsky, as well as other wonderful pieces that illustrate our story. This innovative concert format featuring actual Einstein quotes helps us appreciate the eternal power of music.
