Teacher of the Year Award.....about 15 years ago; 2) Helping my
students write and publish a book and song about the Statue of Liberty
when she turned 100 years old.
Style and make of your instrument: Erdesz (Hungarian viola....same as Yuri's, quite by coincidence)
Hobbies / interests: Reading, writing and working with children
Personal Fact / Something you would like people to know about you: Great-grandfather is Mathias Alten, well known painter from Germany and later Michigan.
My dream is to: Have the time and means to teach strings to underprivileged children who otherwise might not have the opportunity.
