Under the direction of Maestro Andrew Lane, the Sarasota Orchestra pays tribute to American musical icons Arthur Fiedler and John Williams, the pioneers of the modern Pops experience. Highlighting the concert will be a new work entitled The Dream Lives On. Featuring video, this piece was specially commissioned for the 125th Anniversary of the Boston Pops. John Williams’ Star Wars Suite and an orchestral performance of the Beatles’ Yesterday are showcased in a concert featuring the “bestof- the-best” repertoire performed by the Boston Pops over its acclaimed history.
