The recent birth of our daughter Eila.
What career would you have chosen if you weren’t a musician:
A physician or psychologist.
Who is your favorite composer and why:
If I had to pick one it would be Brahms. Without exception, I have been moved by every single work of his that I have ever heard. Also, I never tire of his music even after repeated listening.
When not rehearsing or performing, I spend my time:
Enjoying time with my new daughter, Eila, and my husband, being outside with a book or a stroller, cooking and/or enjoying time with friends.
When in the car, I listen to:
80’s tunes or a recent mix CD of eclectic rock, created by my husband, Bharat.
My favorite holiday tradition has four ingredients:
family, apple pie, good wine and laughter.
My dream is:
to be a great role model for my daughter, reciprocate the same love and devotion that my husband gives me and be a positive part of my community in my every day life.
People are surprised when they learn this about me:
I love mayonnaise on bananas and any TV show that stars a real life doctor.
